Würfelspiel: A Landsknecht Dice Game

Würfelspiel: A Landsknecht Dice Game is an atmospheric dice minigame set in a late medieval setting, inspired by Kingdom Come: Deliverance. This is the author's first game made solo. Bad news: it's very short (takes approximately one cup of coffee to finish). Good news: it's completely free.

Rules:

Dice poker is played with a set of five dice. Player plays with AI opponent. The goal of the game is to roll the strongest hand in two out of three rounds. The game has two rounds, an additional round may be assigned in case of parity. You always start first. Each player may re-roll any number of dice or keep everything and pass the turn.

The dice hands rank as follows (from highest to lowest):

⦁ Five of a kind - all five dice showing the same value.

⦁ Four of a kind - four dice showing the same value.

⦁ Full house (Three of a kind and a pair)

⦁ Six high straight — dice showing values from 2 through 6, inclusive.

⦁ Five high straight — dice showing values from 1 through 5, inclusive.

⦁ Three of a kind

⦁ Two pairs - two pairs of dice, each showing the same value.

⦁ Pair - two dice showing the same value.

⦁ High card - five mismatched dice forming no sequence.

Controls:

Hold Left Mouse Button to ready your throw, release to commence.

A/D to cycle through dices for selection.

Press E to select highlighted dice. Selected dices will be rerolled.

Press F to throw all selected dices.

Hold L to surrender.

Press Esc to pause the game.

* No licensing information

* Buttons, sliders, etc in menus look ugly

* Animations are either non-existing or look horrendous
